To earn your trust as an advisor, we need to demonstrate we understand your business and propose solutions that solve your problems, enhance your operations, and fulfill your technology plan requirements. Since we don't know your business yet, we want to share with you some of the solutions that have worked for other businesses to give you a sense of what we may do for you. The possible universe of solutions is a vast pool of technology hardware, software, and services that we couldn't possibly discuss here. Although each industry may have specialized technology solutions developed to address their unique requirements, we address our solutions around a broader platform based approach. We understand the benefits of specialized line-of-business solutions and fully embrace them. In fact, we work with many solutions providers who offer those specialized solutions. You'll find most specialized solutions are built upon the technology foundation we create and support. The solutions we present here are more universally adapted to broad business applications and form the technology foundation for specialized business applications. We have segmented our solution discussions in the follow groups: Small BusinessThe small business segment is hard to define. Depending who is defining the segment, it can mean any organization employing from one to five hundred people. We like to think of it in more practical terms of technology end users. We generally consider small businesses to be single location operations with one or two servers and use the following terms to define the subsegments of this group:
Typically these businesses have little to no professional technology knowledge and look to us as their trusted adviser. Medium BusinessWe define this segment as businesses with 25 to 100 users. Often these businesses have multiple network servers and appliances, one headquarters location and possibly multiple small remote sites. Typically there is one person employed on site as the designated system administrator (part or full time) with some professional technology knowledge. These businesses look to us as trusted advisers to supplement and guide their existing resources on an ongoing and project basis. Enterprise BusinessWe define this segment as businesses with more than 100 employees and more than one location. Typically there is at least one person dedicated with managing the organization's technology and functioning as the Chief Information Officer (CIO). These businesses look to us as trusted advisers in acquisition matters and service providers for projects and ongoing support.
