| Web Store Updates version 4.6 |
|
|
CNET has updated our ecommerce system to version 4.6. The update includes features that will make it easier to search, navigate, view product information, and other tools we use on the back end.
Breadcrumb NavigationBreadcrumb Navigation has been implemented into the Product Search Results page and the Product Overview Page to provide faster and improved navigation. You can also delete any search items from the search results in the breadcrumb trail. Company StandardsWe have the ability to set up Company Standards catalogs for our customers and customize storefronts to show the Company Standards catalogs for easy ordering. If a Company Standards catalog contains 15 or fewer products, the search results page will load as a default giving your end users immediate access to their company standards. If there are more than 15 products in a company standards catalog, the default will be the category search. Rich Content IntegrationChannelOnline has integrated product rich content — Key Selling Points, Multi-angle Images, User Manual, What's in the Box — direct from manufacturers participating in CNET Channel's new PartnerAccess product. This rich content will help to make more informed buying decisions. Product Search PageThe search filters have been moved to the far right to bring up the search results on the page so that they coexist with the search filters at the same level.
Product Overview PageTo integrate the rich content into the Product Overview page, we have redesigned the layout by breaking down the product content into logical components and adding tabs/icons to help navigate between them. For end users, the default will be the main product specs.
Self RegistrationIf you aren't a Capital Datacorp Web Store user, you can click here to go to our store and create a self registration. This process will get you a standard account. You can shop around and if you see something you need, add to your shopping cart and purchase products through the secure check out process. If you qualify as a volume buyer, government, education, or non profit agency, an account manager can set up your account for special pricing.
